It assumes you're using NetBeans, and begins with having you setup the example using NetBeans without explaining anything.  I've been struggling for a while in trying to get the example to work in Eclipse WTP, in vain.  Why couldn't the examples have been done with just ANT instead of something IDE-specific?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I'm trying the &lt;a href="http://www.exadel.com/exadelstudio/gs/ESJSFGettingStarted.pdf"&gt;tutorial from Exadel&lt;/a&gt; now.  It's still IDE-specific but at least it's on Eclipse &lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;(Exadel Studio)&lt;/span&gt;. The &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4"&gt;Exadel&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5"&gt;plugin&lt;/span&gt; looks more interesting since they've &lt;a href="http://home.nestor.minsk.by/computers/news/2007/04/0506.html"&gt;recently partnered with Red Hat&lt;/a&gt;, which probably means good future support for &lt;a href="http://www.jboss.com/products/seam"&gt;&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_6"&gt;JBoss&lt;/span&gt; Seam&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Since &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_7"&gt;Exadel&lt;/span&gt; already comes bundled with &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_8"&gt;WTP&lt;/span&gt;, I'm currently downloading a plain Eclipse to install &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_9"&gt;Exadel&lt;/span&gt; on, so that it doesn't &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_10"&gt;interfere&lt;/span&gt; with my current Eclipse-&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_11"&gt;WTP&lt;/span&gt; installation.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I also just downloaded &lt;a href="http://www.netbeans.org/"&gt;&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_12"&gt;NetBeans&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/a&gt; and it's Visual Web Pack, just in case the Eclipse &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_13"&gt;plugins&lt;/span&gt; don't workout. ;-)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;One of the appealing things I've seen about &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_14"&gt;JSF&lt;/span&gt; is it's support for drag-and-drop tooling. However, a quick check I did on the archives of the developer mailing list showed that the posts are few and far between, with the last post being in mid-October.  I also poked around their site for a roadmap but found none.   I was even just hoping for some change notes but didn't find those either.
